From Kanyakumari we drive through Suchindram to Nagercoil. From Nagercoil the road runs north-west through Thuckalay and Marthandam, crosses into Kerala at Kaliyakkavilai, and continues through Neyyattinkara to Thiruvananthapuram. The airport is on the city’s western side, near Shanghumugham beach.
